We would like to congratulate Tim Weber for being named a 2014 Super Lawyer! This distinction is quite an honor, but what exactly does it take to be a Super Lawyer?
The path to becoming a Super Lawyer is an arduous one. Each year practicing attorneys are asked to nominate peers whom they have observed in action and feel deserve the distinction, those with the greatest number of “points” from the peer nomination process are then advance to the evaluation process.
According to the Super Lawyers website, the candidates are then evaluated based on “12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement: verdicts and settlements; transactions; representative clients; experience; honors and awards; special licenses and certifications; position within law firm; bar and or other professional activity; pro bono and community service as a lawyer; scholarly lectures and writings; education and employment background; and other outstanding achievements.”
After the evaluation process, those candidates with the highest point totals are categorized by firm size, and those with the highest reviews in each category are name Super Lawyers. Less than 5% of each state’s lawyers earn the distinction every year.
We are extremely proud of Tim Weber for earning such recognition for his hard work. The Super Lawyers group also named Tim a Rising Star in 2011.
Tim joins Stephen J. Wein as members of Weber, Crabb & Wein, P.A. that have earned the Super Lawyer distinction.
