Joseph Kenny is a shareholder with the firm practicing in the areas of general Civil and Commercial Litigation. Joseph has handled numerous complex business litigation matters in both federal and state court ranging from contract disputes and corporate governance disputes to unfair competition, litigation over trade secrets and business torts. In addition, Joseph has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of patent and trademark litigation matters. Joseph has also represented plaintiffs and defendants employment related matters including wage and hour disputes, employment contracts, and severance claims.
Joseph graduated Magna Cum Laude from Stetson University College of Law receiving the Victor O. Wehle Award for excellence in trial advocacy, and the Suzanne Armstrong Award for excellence in legal writing.
While attending law school, Joseph was a member of the Stetson Law Review and competed on the Stetson Moot Court board. In addition, Joseph served as a Teaching Fellow for the research and writing department.
Before attending law school, Joseph earned his B.A. and M.B.A. at the University of South Florida and worked as the Director of Strategic Development at a commercial equipment financing firm based in Tampa.
Joseph Kenny is a member of the Florida Bar, St. Petersburg Bar and District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
